Health Score
The Health Check Score is a crucial metric within the GPUnet ecosystem, designed to assess and quantify the reliability, performance, and overall health of provider nodes. This score ranges from 0 to 1, where 1 represents optimal performance and reliability, and 0 indicates non-compliance with the network's operational standards. The Health Check Score plays a significant role in determining a participant's eligibility for network rewards and their reputation within the GPUnet ecosystem.
Calculation of Health Check Score
Each machine is initialised with 1.0 health score and then it is revised under the following conditions:
Drill test:
Deduct the the health score by 0.3 for every failed drill test.
Increase the health score by 0.1 for a successful drill test, if the score is not 1.
Health check:
Deduct 0.1 health score for a failed health check.
Increase the health score by 0.1 for 3 successful consecutive health checks, if the score is not 1.
User review/rating:
Out of the 10 stars if the machine gets 7 or above then do not deduct the health score.
For 10 star ratings increase the health score by 0.1, if it is not 1.
Other than the above, deduct according to the table below: 4 to 6 rating: deduct 0.1 health score 1 to 3 rating: deduct 0.2 health score
